"There is no life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly wish to be"
Over the last fifteen years, young people have lost their ability to imagine. When asked to create hypothetical situations they answered: "Well, what do you want me to imagine?"
Is it worth to give up our imagination for knowledge, money and comfort? Without imagination we would have no art, or science. No electricity and no iPad. The imaginings of our ancestors are the technology of today. When was the last time you laid down on the grass and let your mind create forms from the clouds? Do not lose this part of yourself, it is what makes you unique. Your ability to imagine may someday become the cure for cancer.
